Anti-bandit glazings for cars

OMNIGARD® is a glazing with a high impact resistant, anti-bandit capacity developed particularly for the car industry. OMNIGARD® is composed of glass, tempered or laminated – we apply internally 1 or more layers of plastic material (polyethylene, polycarbonate or other dependant on the level of protection required) to the original glazing, thus increasing the resistance to impact.

Police forces using OMNIGARD® glazings on their vehicles find it gives half the capacity again for resistance during riots.

Private individuals use OMNIGARD® windscreens as they offer a high level of security from impacts or flying objects against the vehicle.

The use of the original glass, with the reduced increase to the overall thickness of the glass which is achieved by the application of plastic material means that the installation of OMNIGARD® does not require, in most cases any modification to the vehicle itself, simply the changing of the glazings.
