OMNILITE® is a composite laminate in glass and polycarbonate designed to combine maximum visual clarity with tough impact resistance.
OMNILITE® is a versatile product offering a wide range of applications in architectural and vehicle design, and a much improved functionality when compared with plastic laminates or conventional laminated glazing.
The particular characteristics of this lightweight yet highly resistant material combined with many possibility of shaping it, into flat as well as curved panels, make it the ideal choice for architectural uses as well as for aircraft, marine and railway applications. Thanks to an exclusive patent, the layers in each composite panel may be increase to meet the most specific request for security without impairing its high light transmission and pliability properties.
OMNILITE® provide maximum protection for residential and commercial buildings; it adds the security of data process center, banks, retention/detention centres, and psychiatric institutes. Ideally suites for heating windshields, rail and marine uses.
The best properties of glass and polycarbonate find in OMNILITE® their perfect integration. The result is a tough, clear material with the highest impact resistance. In addition to excellent visual transmission, OMNILITE® is the only composite security glazing that provides a multiple impact ballistic barrier while maintaining security and residual vision even after an attempt of forced entry.
Thinner and lighter (between 40 and 60 %) than other similar products, OMNILITE® can be mounted on more streamlined frames, thus sensibly reducing installation and maintenance costs and increasing the range of its applications.
OMNILITE® products are certified conforming to the main European standards:
EN 356 "GLASS IN BUILDING. SECURITY GLAZING. TESTING AND CLASSIFICATION OF RESISTANCE AGAINST MANUAL ATTACK"
EN 1063 "GLASS IN BUILDING. SECURITY GLAZING. TESTING AND CLASSIFICATION OF RESISTANCE AGAINST BULLET ATTACK"
ISOCLIMA guarantees the OMNILITE® product against delamination for a period of 2 year. In as much as it has no control over the conditions to which the product is exposed after delivery, ISOCLIMA declines any responsibility for problems which may arise from incorrect use of the material.
